Looking Back:
Since the gym leaders are pretty important characters and feature in major battles, I decided to give each of them their own motion blurs. As you can see here, I also decided to get a bit more creative. Not only did I combine all their blurs into a single panel, I also made them horizontal. Part of the reason was to make things look a bit more dramatic. The rest was that I had three panels of dialogue so it was either this or stretch out the dialogue a bit and break this into two strips, the second of which would be mostly motion blurs. Starting here, I've tried to come up with different ways to layout the start of gym battle motion blurs each time, both for fun and to avoid being too repetitive. |
