| Looking Back: And Brendan and May meet Roxanne, the first gym leader. Going off what you learn in the games, she was/is the top student at Rustboro's pokémon school. Supposedly she's a bit of a genius. Of course, she has a small team of pokémon, all rock types, and never bothered to level them up very high, so I suppose her pokémon genius is a bit debatable. Then again, maybe the Pokémon League requires all gym leaders to use a single type team in a specific level range. |
