Looking Back:
The motion blurs are an established part of Pebble Version inspired by the anime, so I like to put them in whenever it's appropriate. Especially in important battles. Thing is, they can take up a lot of panels. For example, in a a two on two battle like this, if I gave each character a full panel motion blur, that would fill up the entire strip. So I started combining multiple motion blurs into one panel. This isn't the first time I did it (see Brendan and May's first battle with Xain and Cali), but this time I made them diagonal for a bit of variety. |
