Looking Back:
When it comes to walking around in the dark, there's dark and then there's DARK. In most dark spaces, given enough time, your eyes will adjust to the point where you can at least make out basic objects. However, in a truly dark space, like a cave or a well sealed room that light can't really reach, you literally can't see your hand in front of your face. If you've never experienced it, it can be kind of unnerving and definitely disorienting.
