Looking Back:
Pokémon can only hold one item at a time, even if it seems like (logically) one item wouldn't get in the way of another. It's a gameplay balance thing and one you encounter in pretty much every RPG. Sure you could probably fit a couple dozen rings on your fingers in real life but in a game, only one or two. Can't have you getting too many beneficial stat boosts at once, after all. As far as the scarf goes, it wouldn't be all that useful on a Blaziken. Mew, maybe, depending on what moves it knows (Mew is a complete wild card since it can learn any TM or HM). Zigzagoon would probably be the best match though since it's a normal type pokémon so most of its attacks are normal. |
