Looking Back:
Ah, Brendan and his terrible pokéball aim. While I used to do quite a lot of jokes related to that, they gradually thin out over the course of the comic. One reason is that recurring gags get old after a while so it's best not to rely too heavily on them. The other reason is that, from a story perspective, it only makes sense for Brendan's aim to improve over time considering how many pokéballs he has to toss around on a daily basis. But, every once in a while, that bad aim resurfaces for a good gag. |
