| Looking Back: In the anime and manga, having a pokémon evolve mid-battle isn't uncommon. In the games, however, they won't do it until the battle has ended, even if they reached the proper level earlier. In Pebble Version, I do it both ways, depending on the situation. I started out with post battle evolutions, but sometimes having a pokémon evolve mid-battle is just too dramatic to pass up. |
