| Looking Back: And back to the gym, now remade with Photoshop! While the problems with my grass tiles were rather hard to see, it's clear that the floor and wall patterns here look a little off. The reason? At this point in time, I hadn't figured out how to break apart tile patterns so I was using a pattern maker which basically made a new pattern based on the original one, rather than recreating it. Sometimes, it worked fairly well, others it produced rather strange results (the worst of which never made it into the comic). Not sure why I decided to do a Monty Python joke here, but it proved to be pretty popular with fans and further plays on Norman's trouble with names. |
