Looking Back:
A continuation of the previous strip's emphasis on pokémon swapping and experience sharing. XP are supposed to represent the way a person or pokémon's skills and general toughness improve by taking part in battles. Of course, it doesn't necessarily work that way in real life, especially if you just hop into a fight for a couple seconds then hop out without doing anything. I suppose you could learn by watching the battle, but pokémon are returned to their balls and don't even get to do that... |
