First Comic Previous Comic Next Comic Today's Comic
Looking Back:
At this point in the game, you can't actually buy revives yet but it's safe to say that may kept a few stashed away in preparation for the day when she'd be able to leave on her own pokémon journey. In the games, healing items solve everything, if you look at the Pokémon anime and manga though, you'll see that they just can't handle serious injuries, which kinda makes sense. I can imagine a special potion or something that can make people feel better and maybe heal some minor injuries but they're not going to do much good if you have a concussion or broken leg or something. As for the rest of the comic, May is right. Moving a seriously injured creature of any type is risky as you could accidentally make things worse. Stuffing them into a ball would naturally be worse, except that pokéballs seem to transform pokémon into data and store them digitally (at least that's the best explanation I can come up with), which would actually be a very safe way to transport someone.

Pokemon and all related images and trademarks are copyrighted by Nintendo, one of my favorite games companies who would certainly never waste their time by trying to sue me.
